Before returning your unit for repair, please go over the checklist items below and confirm by checking the respective boxes. Once you have sent this form to us you will be sent a unique Goods return Number (GRN) and a shipping label. This label MUST be used.

Goods for Repair Customer Checklist

Please Note: VR Technology reserve the right to apply a charge for any product received found to have not been checked for the following items prior to shipment.

Symptom Fault Try this first...  
Not turning on Low battery Fit new battery
Battery fitted round the wrong way +ve should be facing into the VR. -ve to the cap
Battery stuck in the cap Replace with battery of the correct diamater so it moves freely on the spring
Broken switch Remove both switches and inspect/replace
Corroded battery contacts Remove the battery cap and clean the spring/contact
Loosing information Battery stuck in the cap Replace with battery of the correct diamater so it moves freely on the spring
Corroded battery contacts Remove the battery cap and clean the spring/contact
Lose battery cap Check battery cap is screwed right in/spring is making contact with the battery
Diving on surface/not diving Covered depth transducer hole Make sure the hole on the rear of the VR is not covered (do not put anything in the hole)
Short battery life Broken switch Remove both switches and inspect/replace
Corroded battery contacts Remove the battery cap and clean the spring/contact
